Matching Funds
A federal judge recently ruled that the matching funds provision of the Clean Elections law is unconstitutional under the First Amendment. Now, as the case sits in the hands of the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, the U.S. Supreme Court has indicated it may intervene if a decision is not reached soon. Read more here.
