After earning a degree in Economics and Sociology from CSU Sacramento in 2006, Evan embarked on a career as a loan officer, helping clients find the ideal mortgage solutions. What started as a job quickly turned into a passion, as Evan realized the impact he could make on people’s lives by providing expert guidance and personalized service.

In 2015, Evan was presented with an exciting opportunity by business partner Dustin Sheppard: to lead the sales team at Securus Mortgage. Over the next three years, Evan helped grow the company to three states and over 35 employees.

In 2018, Evan and Sheppard recognized the need for a new brand that would embody their values and mission. Thus, Element Mortgage was born, with a focus on bringing the human element back to the mortgage industry. At Element Mortgage, the team is committed to unlocking the human element in a digital world, recognizing that for most Americans, a home is both an emotional and financial investment.
