A piece of the Big Apple is heading to Roseville.
New York-based Shake Shack, which opened a permanent food kiosk in 2004, is known for its delicious burgers, frozen custard and shakes.
Plans are in place for a new restaurant in Roseville, according to the Sacramento Business Journal. This summer, the company announced a location in Sacramento’s midtown area. That restaurant has not yet opened.
The two regional locations will be part of a network of more than 220 in the U.S., and beyond.
Shake Shack grills up 100 percent all-natural Angus beef on a potato roll. There are a variety of burger selections and chicken sandwich options with bacon, crisp-fried portobello mushrooms and cheeses. Each burger creation is layered with the restaurant’s ShackSauce.
Flat-top hot dogs, breakfast sandwiches and crinkly fries are other staples.
For dessert, Shake Shack makes a densely rich and creamy frozen custard. It’s made daily in vanilla and chocolate recipes. You can also enjoy the custard with fudge sauce, chocolate truffle cookie dough, hazelnut brown butter streusel and marshmallow sauce.
Roseville is constantly evolving as a destination. New places to eat, gather and enjoy time with friends and family are always a short drive away and are growing in number.
